The Gamma Seals (SR Seals) consists of two elements one is the metal case and the other an elastomer which acts as a sealing membrane, but both the components are not bonded to each other. The metal case provides the support and protection for the sealing membrane, the rubber sealing member is stretched and held inside the metal case by its elastic property. The seal is press fi tted on to the shaft. This seal can be installed where there is a lack of space which adds advantage to this seal over the other seals.
