The RES Seal is a unidirectional seal and composed of two elements. The U-Shaped dynamic seal is a ring in TRIALON® (fi lled PTFE) while the energizer is a cantilever or helical or slant coil spring. Depending on the application, media, cycle speed etc., the PTFE compound is selected. Lesser area of contact off ers reduced wear, thus increasing the life of the Seal.
